Lorraine Silverman has lived in the Asheville area for 16 years, though she's originally from Atlanta. The beauty of the mountains (and less traffic) lured her away!

She has taught at AB Tech, our community's college all these years, and was awarded Outstanding Adjunct Instructor in 2003 and in 2008 was awared the Golden Apple Award by Phi Theta Kappa. In Atlanta, she worked for AT&T for several years where she focused on serving business customers and developing professional relationships all over the Southeast.

She enjoys spending time with her family, especially when taking time to travel and experience other cultures. (Lorraine can even get by with the little Spanish and Italian she's picked up.) Though Lorraine loves golf, she hasn't played much lately. However, she has spent time volunteering for the Asheville Jewish Community Center's Annual Golf Classic. She has also been an ambassador for Dining Out for Life in support of the WNC Aids Project.

Lorraine received her MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta, but her heart lies with the Bulldogs of the University of Georgia.

After Lorraine's first year at Town and Mountain Realty, she earned Rookie of the Year. Since then, she has achieved Top Producer as well as Top Salesperson numerous times.
